West Dennis Beach, located at the end of Davis Beach Road in West Dennis, MA, is one of the largest and most popular beaches in Dennis. With over a mile of sandy shoreline, it offers ample space and never feels too crowded. It's a great spot for families, and its windy conditions make it ideal for windsurfing and kite flying.

Parking Information:

  • Large Parking Lots: West Dennis Beach has very large parking lots with over 1,000 spaces.
  • Daily Fee: A daily parking fee of $35 is required from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day (8 AM - 5 PM). This fee is cash only.
  • Weekly/Seasonal Passes: Weekly ($100) and seasonal passes (prices vary for residents and non-residents) are also available and can be purchased at the Town of Dennis Beach Department.
  • Resident-Only Lot: There is a resident-only parking lot on the east side of the beach, while the west lot is open to the public.

Rules and Regulations:

  • Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on Dennis beaches, in the parking areas, or in unattended vehicles from the Friday before Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
  • Prohibited Items: Glass containers and alcohol are prohibited.
  • Kite Flying: There is a designated area for kite flying, making it a safe place for this activity.
