Sea Street Beach in Hyannis, also known as Keyes Memorial Beach, is a small, family-friendly beach located at 108 Ocean Avenue. It's known for its soft sand, scenic views of Hyannis Harbor, and a generally calm environment.
Parking Information
- Daily Fee: A daily parking fee of $25 is charged at the public lot during the summer season.
- Permit Required: From June 15 through August 31, 2025, a beach parking permit is required.
- Weekly/Seasonal Passes: The town of Barnstable offers weekly and seasonal parking permits that are valid at Sea Street Beach and other select Barnstable beaches. A non-resident weekly permit is $110, while a non-resident seasonal permit is $250 (prices are subject to change).
- Limited Parking: The parking lot has 132 spaces, including five accessible spaces.
- No Parking on Street: Parking is strictly enforced in the area.
Facilities and Amenities
- Lifeguards: Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season.
- Restrooms & Showers: The beach has a bathhouse with restrooms and an outdoor shower.
- Picnic Area: There is a picnic area with tables and grills.
- Playground: A small playground with swings is located on a hill overlooking the beach.
- Accessibility: The beach has a wheelchair-accessible path and ramps to the bathhouse.
- Recreation: A beach volleyball area is available.
Note: It's important not to confuse this beach with the similarly named Sea Street Beach in Dennisport, which is a different beach with its own parking rules and amenities.
