Sea Street Beach, located in Dennisport, MA, is a medium-sized beach on Nantucket Sound known for its calm, warm water and rock jetties. The beach offers a great family-friendly atmosphere. Access to the sand is via a set of stairs, as the beach is located at the foot of a dune.
Parking Information:
- Daily Passes: A daily fee of $35 is required to park at Sea Street Beach from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. The fee is cash only.
- Stickers: Weekly, seasonal, and non-resident stickers are also available for purchase through the Town of Dennis.
- Hours: The parking lot is staffed from 9 AM to 4 PM during the summer season.
Facilities and Amenities:
- Restrooms: Sea Street Beach has permanent restroom facilities.
- Lifeguards: Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months.
- Food: A grill, run by Kingfisher Oceanside, is located near the parking lot and offers sandwiches, fried seafood, and soft-serve ice cream.
- Accessibility: Due to the stairs, this beach may not be suitable for those with accessibility needs.
Rules and Regulations:
- Dogs: Dogs are not allowed on Dennis beaches, in the parking areas, or in unattended vehicles from the Friday before Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
- Prohibited Items: Glass containers, alcohol, and smoking/vaping are prohibited on the beach and in the parking lot.
