Monument Beach, located on Buzzards Bay in Bourne, MA, is a popular and family-friendly beach, particularly favored for swimming due to its calm, protected waters. It offers splendid views of Phinney's Harbor and is not far from the entrance of the Cape Cod Canal, allowing visitors to watch boat activity.

Outside these dates, it can be borrowed from the Harbormaster Shack. Ground accessibility mats are also installed to assist with transportation to the waterfront.

Parking Information:
Monument Beach is unique in Bourne as it's the only town-owned beach with a parking lot open to non-residents during the summer season. However, you will need to purchase your pass ahead of time.
- Parking Lot: There is a large parking lot with over 120 spaces.
- Permit Required: A town-issued parking permit is required for all vehicles during the summer season. Parking permits are enforced all year round at town-owned Bourne beaches.

The surrounding Monument Beach residential neighborhood is quiet and also features several family-friendly playgrounds and parks, including the Bourne Back River Area of Critical Environmental Concern nature preserve. For golf enthusiasts, The Brookside Club nearby offers upscale golf facilities.
