Facilities at Monument Beach:

Monument Beach is well-equipped with amenities, including:

• Restrooms: Full restroom facilities are available.
• Snack Bar: A snack bar is on-site during the season.
• Boat Launch: There's a convenient public boat ramp adjacent to the beach.
• Lifeguards: Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season.
• Accessibility: The beach offers a Mobi-Chair floating beach wheelchair, available at the Lifeguard house (22 Emmons Way) from July 1st to August 11th (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Outside these dates, it can be borrowed from the Harbormaster Shack. Ground accessibility mats are also installed to assist with transportation to the waterfront.
• Playground and Baseball Field: Nearby, you'll find a Monument Beach Playground and a Monument Beach Baseball Field.

Parking Information:

Monument Beach is unique in Bourne as it's the only town-owned beach with a parking lot open to non-residents during the summer season. However, you will need to purchase your pass ahead of time.

• Parking Lot: There is a large parking lot with over 120 spaces.
• Permit Required: A town-issued parking permit is required for all vehicles during the summer season. Parking permits are enforced all year round at town-owned Bourne beaches.

• 2-week temporary (Monument Beach Only): $60
