Covell Beach
Covell Beach is a residents-only beach located in Centerville, a village within Barnstable, MA. It is situated on Nantucket Sound and is known for its warm, calm waters and fine sand, making it a favorite for families with children. The beach is conveniently located close to the popular Craigville Beach.

Parking Information:

  • Resident Parking Only: Parking at Covell Beach is strictly limited to Barnstable residents who have a town-issued beach sticker.
  • No Daily/Non-Resident Passes: Unlike some other Barnstable beaches, there are no daily parking passes available for non-residents.
  • Parking Lots: There are two parking lots, both requiring the resident sticker.
  • Sticker Purchase: Barnstable resident beach stickers can be purchased from the Town of Barnstable Recreation Department.

Facilities at Covell Beach:

  • Restrooms: The beach has a seasonal bathhouse with restrooms.
  • Snack Bar: A snack bar is available during the summer season.

  • Pets: Dogs are not allowed on the beach from May 15 to September 15.
