Cooks Brook Beach is one of Eastham's bay beaches, located at the end of Steele Road in North Eastham. It's known for its calm, warm waters and soft sand, making it a good spot for families with children. The beach also features public restroom facilities.
Clean, calm waters, perfect for families with young children. Cooks Brook Beach is great for exploring the sandbars at low tide. They seem to go on forever. Dig some razor clams, pick up a shell or two, and play with the hermit crabs. Great place for kids to experience some nature. And then go at sunset.
Parking Information:
Cooks Brook Beach has a large parking lot. To park, you will need either a Town of Eastham beach sticker or a daily pass.
- Daily Passes: You can purchase a daily pass directly at the beach entrance. The cost is $30 per vehicle. These daily passes are also valid at Campground, First Encounter, and Wiley Park beaches in Eastham.
- Beach Stickers: If you're a resident or staying for a longer period, you can obtain beach stickers from the Department of Public Works Building on 555 Old Orchard Road. Visitor stickers purchased from the town are valid only at town beaches (like Cooks Brook Beach) and not at Cape Cod National Seashore beaches.
