Parking Information

A daily fee or a Dennis beach pass is required to park from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Parking is open from 8 AM to 5 PM during this period.

• Daily Pass: The daily fee is $35, and is paid in cash at the public parking area.
• Weekly Pass: A weekly pass costs $100.
• Seasonal Passes: Seasonal passes are available at various price points, depending on your residency status. For example, a resident/taxpayer season pass is $60, while a non-resident season pass is $370.
• Limited Parking: The parking lot has a limited number of spaces (around 66), so it's advisable to arrive early, especially on weekends and holidays.

Facilities and Amenities

Chapin Memorial Beach has limited facilities, but provides the essentials for a comfortable visit:

• Restrooms: Portable toilets are available.
• Lifeguards: Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season.
• Accessibility: The beach has a four-wheel-drive trail (although access may be restricted due to erosion) and a bathing beach area to the right.

Dog Rules

Dogs are not allowed on Dennis beaches from the Friday prior to Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. During the off-season, dogs are permitted, but a leash is required.
