Parking Information:
Parking at Cahoon Hollow Beach can be tricky, especially during peak season, and it's highly recommended to arrive early as the lots tend to fill up by late morning. The parking lot is unpaved, so exercise caution if you have a sports car.
The parking fee at the Beachcomber/Cahoon Hollow Beach lot is $30 per vehicle per day (as of 2024). However, this fee comes with a $30 voucher that you can use towards food and merchandise at The Beachcomber restaurant and its store (this voucher cannot be used for alcohol). This effectively makes your parking free if you plan to dine or shop there.
If the Cahoon Hollow Beach parking lot is full, you can try circling a few times to see if a spot opens up, or consider parking at White Crest Beach, which is about a mile down the road. Keep in mind that parking at White Crest Beach also has a daily fee, but it cannot be applied to your bill at The Beachcomber.
Wellfleet also offers various beach stickers for visitors, including 3-day, one-week, two-week, and seasonal passes, which can be purchased online or at the Beach Office at the Town Pier. These stickers are generally valid for all Wellfleet bay beaches and kettle ponds.
For the most up-to-date information on parking fees and sticker requirements, it's always best to check the official Wellfleet town website or contact the Wellfleet Beaches Department at (508) 349-9818.
